Pocket doc App Design

At AcademyXi, I was tasked with designing a telehealth experience that would place the patient at the centre of the design process. To achieve this, I conducted extensive research and investigation to gain a deeper understanding of the needs and frustrations of the families of those that needed healthcare services. My goal was to create an experience that would not only address the patient's primary concerns but also provide a seamless and enjoyable user experience.

One of the primary problems I encountered was the challenge faced by first-generation migrants who felt concerned about their family member's health in a developing country. They wanted to ensure their loved ones had access to high-quality healthcare but were hindered by barriers such as accessibility, high costs, and distrust in the local medical system.

To overcome these obstacles, I focused on developing a telehealth experience that would provide a reliable and convenient solution for accessing medical care remotely. By keeping the patient's needs at the forefront of the design process, I was able to create a solution that addressed the concerns of both the patient and their family members while providing an accessible and trustworthy healthcare experience.
